Who's Who in the Zoo: Jake Hoffman, Salesforce Business Analyst

August 26, 2020 Michael Brumitt

Based out of Indianapolis, Jake Hoffman is an IT and Salesforce expert, and is a month away from his two-year anniversary with Appirio. Here he shares some thoughts on how he’d expand his tech skills, attending Hogwarts, and the practical advantages of being able to fly.

Let’s say you’re about to sing karaoke. What song do you pick?

It’s got to be “Super Bass” by Nicki Minaj.

What fictional world or place would you like to visit?

I would definitely want to visit the magical world of Harry Potter! Attending Hogwarts and learning about magic would be amazing. Just visiting though would make it difficult to leave. Haha! Also, I would be in Slytherin if anyone was wondering!

If you could learn one new professional skill, what would it be?

If I could, having coding knowledge under my belt would help me out a lot.

Would you rather have invisibility or flight?

Invisibility would be so fun to play pranks on people, but I can’t pass up the ability to fly. If you want to pick up dinner from a nearby restaurant, you would never have to deal with traffic! Also, you could easily get to some amazing places where people have a tough time getting to on foot.

What’s your favorite tradition or holiday?

It may be a standard answer, but I love Christmas. Seeing the lights pop up on people’s houses and getting out the decorations is such a warm feeling. Plus, it’s a time I get to go home and visit all my family back in Pennsylvania.
