For the Second Year in a Row, Appirio Named a Top Company for Remote Work

January 19, 2018 Anne Andre

This unusually cold, snowy, and icy January, I haven’t been too motivated to bundle up, scrape off my car, and drive to the office in the morning. Luckily, I didn’t have to. I was able to work from the comfort of my home office, with my dog snuggled on my lap for extra warmth. There’s nothing like a negative wind chill to remind me just how fortunate I am to have the flexibility to choose where (and when!) I work each day.

Telecommuting is becoming an increasingly popular option, so more employees are able to ditch the commute and embrace workplace flexibility. Some are afraid that working from home may feel isolating. However, by embracing the G Suite, all of my teammates are just a “ping” away, and I get to see them “face-to-face” on daily video meetings. Our team parties are even hosted on video chat, so our remote coworkers can join in on the fun.

Appirio is proud to be on FlexJobs’ list of the Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2018. Appirio ranked number 36, up eight spots from last year!

About the Award

This list is based on an analysis of over 49,000 companies and their remote job posting histories in the FlexJobs database. Appirio is one of 100 companies that had the highest number of remote job openings on the FlexJobs site in 2017. To be considered, the jobs offered by these companies had to be remote-friendly — allowing candidates to telecommute entirely or part of the time. Appirio offers both types of flexible work options.
