8 Great Podcasts for Salesforce Users

November 16, 2017 Nicole Klemp

When you’re commuting to the office, putting in work at the gym, or avoiding that chatty person next to you on a flight, nothing passes the time like a good podcast. If you’re in the Salesforce ecosystem, there’s always a ton of information to digest, so access to Salesforce experts (that you can listen to at your leisure) is a great way to stay up-to-date with the latest news, tips, and solutions. Here are eight of our favorite Salesforce-related podcasts to check out now:

  1. Blazing Trails

Immerse yourself in all things Salesforce, with this original podcast covering a wide range of topics, and featuring content from celebrities, experts, and thought leaders. Learn how Salesforce is pushing for gender equality, get insider Dreamforce tips, and find out what’s new in Trailhead. Hosted by Salesforce’s Sabrina Barekzai and Marissa Kraines.

  1. The Salesforce Admins Podcast

If you’re a Salesforce admin and not listening to this podcast, it’s probably time to check it out. (It was literally made for you.) The helpful and concise content is covered in about 20 minutes each week by hosts Mike Gerholdt and Gillian Bruce, and offers straightforward solutions to the real problems that Salesforce admins face.

  1. The Marketing Cloudcast

Hosted by Salesforce’s Heike Young (my friend, and an all-around great human), this podcast has something for all marketers. Hear tips, new research from Salesforce, and advice from marketing pros, in this interview-style pod. Check out the archives for interviews with today’s leading marketing experts like Joe Polizzi, Ann Handley, and Jay Baer.

  1. Good Day, Sir!

Freelance software engineers Jeremy Ross and John De Santiago discuss software development on the Salesforce platform, and take on hot topics in the tech universe (e.g., Apple’s latest product announcement, Marc Benioff’s birthday, creepy loyalty programs). They answer questions from their listener community, and help you stay informed on all things Salesforce.

  1. Two WIT

One of my personal favorites, the Two WIT (Women in Tech) podcast is hosted by Salesforce MVPs Kristi Guzman and Melinda Smith. The ladies interview Salesforce experts and chat about everything from Dreamforce planning to craft beer. If you’re a woman in tech (or just a person who loves a great podcast with fun hosts) give this one a try.

  1. Code Coverage

Aussies Matt Lacey and Steven Herod pick the brains of fellow Salesforce developers and business analysts to share their best tips and solutions on the platform, with a particular focus on Force.com (Apex and VisualForce), Heroku, and ExactTarget. Be sure to check out their archives, as the pod only comes out once in a “fortnight.” (The amazing intro music alone is worth a listen.)

  1. Brainiate Show

Brainiate CEO David Giller chats with Salesforce admins, users, and business leaders to discuss best practices, solutions, use cases, and more. Recent guests include Dana Hall, Trailhead Engagement Marketing Manager at Salesforce; Salesforce MVP Daniel Peter; and Gillian Bruce, Admin Evangelist at Salesforce.

  1. Quotable

Quotable is a sales-focused podcast that features interviews with industry experts discussing best practices for selling, success metrics, and leadership. Created by Salesforce and hosted by Kevin Micalizzi, this weekly pod is great for inspiring and informing your sales process.
