As we get closer to the holidays, everyone starts looking forward to being with family and having some great food, and Amber Sepulvado is all about food and family, no matter the season. In her profile, this Orlando-based Appirian tells us about her role, what led her to join the company, and where her ideal destination for a relaxing week would be.
If you could go anywhere in the world to relax for a week, where would it be?
A farmhouse on the countryside of Tuscany, Italy. Picture this: miles and miles of beautiful terrain, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists, farm-fresh Italian food and wine all day while basking in the warm Tuscan sun surrounded by family and some cute farm animals.
If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
All-day cooking for my family on Thanksgiving and eating from morning until night.
What is something you are passionate about?
Cooking (there’s definitely a theme here in my responses—cooking and eating 😊) and my family.
What makes a long-lasting friendship in your opinion?
Genuine connections where each person listens and is heard, feels accepted without judgment and puts in consistent effort to show the other person how much they mean to them.
What is your favorite holiday treat?
Christmas cookies of all varieties (LOVE Italian wedding cookies). I’d love to share/trade recipes this holiday season—let’s connect!
If you could pick up one new hobby and be very good at it, what would it be?
Playing guitar. I love music so much and would love to be able to pick up the guitar and jam!
What does a Director, Programs—Americas Region do?
I am responsible for the execution of projects, alignment of objectives, and commissioning of key metrics for Sales and Delivery in the AMER region. In this role, I am focused on executing Appirio's strategy in the development and evolution of the GTM and Delivery models through the execution of projects aimed at evolving Appirio's ability to sell, deliver, and manage the overall AMER organization.
What attracted you to this role and company?
I had been following Appirio for a while as I have a friend who works here, and she was always raving about how awesome Appirio is. When I saw this role, I knew it was for me because it fit so nicely with my background and what I love to do. As I went through the interview process, I recognized the opportunity to be a part of something transformational and was excited to jump in with both feet.
