San Francisco—February 26, 2014—Appirio, a global cloud consultancy, has announced a new office in Jaipur, India, home to consultants, engineers and support teams. This new office supports Appirio’s aggressive global growth plans, aiming to build its employee base to more than 600 employees in India by 2017. With this growing team, Appirio customers will see even higher quality and cost-effective levels of service, with the opportunity to interact more frequently with experts on the team.
Jaipur offers a rich source of talent that will allow Appirio to achieve its growth potential, and deliver on its mission to help companies power their business with the cloud. Appirio’s Jaipur team will deliver business function and technology solutions as well as operations support to its global customers through its Salesforce, Workday, Cornerstone OnDemand and Google practices. Leveraging the Topcoder community and building a strong team capability to architect and manage challenges is another strategic focus for Appirio’s Jaipur team.
Leading the new office is Manpreet Singh, general manager of Appirio India. The state-of-the-art facility is located in Mahindra World City—the largest IT special economic zone (SEZ) in India. The facility was built with the employee experience in mind, equipped with a 24-hour cafeteria, a recreational area with video and table games, and a gymnasium stocked with modern amenities and equipment supporting Appirio’s CloudFit program. Transportation arrangements have also been put in place to make travel to and from work more seamless for employees.
