NEWS BLOG: Appirio Wins Big at Dreamforce 2017

As we come back to reality, full-bellied from a long Thanksgiving weekend, we can’t help but feel very thankful for the talent we have here at Appirio. Our people are the best in the business. And this isn’t just a “proud parent” comment, our customers and partners think so too.

Exhibit A: Dreamforce

Dreamforce is a great example of an event where Appirio’s results-driven and innovative work methodology shines through.

The conference has long been the top annual event for Appirio. Now that we’ve joined forces with Wipro — a global company that is 180,000 employees strong — we really roll out the blue carpet for our customers. This year we were even more attentive, more creative, and more fun (we try to one-up our own parties each year!). We see Dreamforce as an opportunity to show first-hand how Appirio provides a different experience.

It is this type of Customer Experience delivery that positioned Appirio to win the 2017 Salesforce Partner Innovation Award for our work with McGraw Hill-Education, one of the world's leading educational publishers. The company tapped Appirio to help it consolidate customer support services and reduce the operational overhead caused by a multitude of communication channels. To minimize inefficiencies, we implemented two Salesforce communities that were built using custom Lightning Components. Our team was engaged from the very beginning in everything from providing subject matter expertise to deploying the technology and building the framework on which all future community sites will be built. Working jointly with McGraw Hill, we successfully reduced operational overhead on legacy channels like phone communication, and enabled the two communities to be agile, intuitive, and mobile.

Appirio has also been hard at work developing Lightning Bolt solutions to accelerate development of Salesforce Communities for retail and franchise operations, medical device order management, higher education faculty portals, and cross vertical employee communities. At Dreamforce, we received the first annual Salesforce Bolty Award for Retail! This award considered all Community Cloud Partners and recognized the top innovators in different verticals.

Being recognized by Salesforce as a dedicated partner delivering customer success drives the Appirio Way. We are honored to receive these awards and are proud of our talent for the work they do each and every day!
