In November 2017, Salesforce announced the launch of Pathfinder, a workforce development program designed to address the skills gap by providing participants from diverse backgrounds with the technical and business training they need to obtain jobs in the Salesforce ecosystem.

There is a huge opportunity in the Salesforce ecosystem; in fact, chances are your next job will require Salesforce skills.

The program kicked off in Appirio’s hometown, Indianapolis, Indiana, which is also Salesforce’s largest hub outside of San Francisco.  Salesforce has committed to training 500 local workers over the next three years.  In partnership with Ivy Tech Community College and Deloitte, participants receive Salesforce technical training, soft skills training, and will graduate the program with a Salesforce certification.

Appirio is excited to partner with Pathfinder to continue our tradition of hiring strong talent in our Indianapolis Headquarters,

The inaugural cohort of Pathfinders started their journey in June of 2018 and recently completed the program.  Appirio made a commitment to hiring at least one Pathfinder from this first cohort.  We are delighted to have extended offers to four Pathfinders from this most recent program, with one Appirian that is already on board and contributing to customer projects.

We love this program as the Pathfinders come to Appirio with a well-rounded experience, which includes Salesforce technical training, Salesforce certifications, and hands-on consulting experience. Keep an eye out on this feed for updates from Appirian Pathfinders in the coming months!

Appirio is incredibly thrilled to continue our partnership with the Pathfinder pilot in Indianapolis in the coming years!
