In a world where customers are more social than ever, there's more information about customers and their preferences outside a company's systems than there are within it. The traditional notion of customer 360 or an integrated view across a company's internal systems tracking orders, invoices, etc, is insufficient. In a social world, we need to rethink what 360 is and move from our closed, locked-down systems to open systems that bring in social information to build a true picture of the customer.
